Wheat FreeOriental Ramen Noodles

I'm not the biggest Ramen Noodle fan, but sometimes I get a hankerin' for it. Here is how I do it, wheat free.

Seasoning:

1 tbs onion powder
1 garlic clove, or 1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ginger (fresh is best)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
1 tbs butter (optional)


Saifun bean thread noodles, about 2 oz (1 bundle)

Pour enough boiling water over the noodles to just cover them. Add seasoning ingredients and mix well.

To make chicken or beef flavored, either use broth instead of water or add 1 bouillon cube.
